EAST PEORIA — Carol Ann Gale, 69, of East Peoria, died at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center Emergency Room in Peoria. Born Nov. 29, 1943, in Murphysboro to Thomas D. and Rosemary L. (Nesler) Ellis, she married Adrian Gale on Sept. 18, 1965, in Pekin. He survives. Also surviving are her mother, Rosemary Caterino of Murphysboro; two daughters, Lisa A. (David) Eggert and Rhonda (Mark) Dahmm, both of East Peoria; two sons, Jason D. (Marsie) Gale and Chad A. Gale, both of East Peoria; six grandchildren; two sisters, Judy L. Gale and Janet S. Caswell, both of Murphysboro; one brother, Richard T. Ellis of Campbell, Calif.; three half-sisters, Harriet of Canton, Marcia of Chicago and Cindy Beanblossom of Lawrenceville. Her father preceded her in death. She formerly worked as a cashier. Carol was a member of Driven Church, First Assembly of God in Pekin. Her funeral will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. The Rev. David Carrington will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
