Police investigating armed robbery

East Peoria, Ill. -
East Peoria Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 2:54 p.m. Thursday at Topic Cove Tanning.
A male suspect entered the back door of the business at 2454 E. Washington St. The suspect, who covered his face and was brandishing a knife, approached the employee and demanded money.
The employee gave the suspect the money from the drawer. The suspect then ran out the back door.
No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as being 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet inches tall with a medium build.
