GALESBURG — Galesburg police say Latrell A. Patterson, 18, is suspected of being involved in the shots fired incident Saturday night at Galesburg Railroad Days.
According to a news release issued early Monday afternoon, Galesburg police said they were called to 29 N. Public Square at about 9:24 p.m. Saturday for a report of shots fired in the carnival area of the annual summer festival.
Two spent shell casings were recovered by police and investigation of the incident “resulted in determining a person of interest involved in the shooting to be” Patterson, the news release said.
“At this time, there have been no reports of injuries from the incident,” the news release said.
