A fundraising event to benefit The Beacon Teen Center at the Glad Tidings Church will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 24.
The event will be in the church parking lot at 2201 E. Washington St. Featured will be entertainment, including The Lamplighters, Puppets for Jesus, a teenage band, and the Midwest Cruiser Car Club. There will also be many raffle items, numerous silent auction items, a bake sale, and a 50/50 drawing. There will be plenty of food available.
