Dayton R. “Bob” Meischner, 86, of Creve Coeur, formerly of East Peoria, died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Peoria.
Born on Sept. 7, 1925, in East Peoria to Otto and Laura Sistek Meischner, he married Jacqueline L. Collins on March 21, 1948, in Peoria. She survives.
Roger Irven Chester, 66, of East Peoria died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Peoria.
Born May 1, 1945, in Herrin to Irven Keith and Martha Rogers (White) Chester, he married Marie C. Thunehorst in East Peoria on June 16, 1973. She survives.
Mary A. Dossey, 97, of Eureka, and formerly of East Peoria, died at 2 a.m. on Jan. 22, 2012, at Maple Lawn Health Center in Eureka.
Born Dec. 22, 1914, in Buncombe, Ill., to John W. and Dessie M. Medlin, she married Arthur B. Dossey May 23, 1936, in Frederick, Maryland. He died May 15, 1997, in Eureka. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard, and her sister, Leola Archibald.
Betty J. Peterson, 88, of East Peoria died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria.
Born on Oct. 5, 1923, in College Place, Wash., to Chester and Ethel McLeod McConville, she married Paul R. Peterson on Aug. 29, 1953, in Seattle, Wash. He survives.
Carolyn J. Booth, 90 of East Peoria, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
Born July 30, 1921, in Rankin to Harley O. and Vada B. Coplea Todd, she married Hubert W. Booth on March 11, 1939, in Peoria. He preceded her in death in 1988 in East Peoria.
