Frances Joanne Davis, 71, formerly of East Peoria, died at 4:52 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Pekin Manor. 

Born Oct. 5, 1938, in Bloomington to Harry H. and Norma Elizabeth (Witt) Monkman, she married Dennis E. “Dan” Davis June 13, 1957, in East Peoria.

Surviving are one son, Scott A. Davis of Pekin; one daughter, Teresa A. (Mike) Frolik of O’Fallon, Mo.; one grandson; two stepgranddaughters; several stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Wilkinson of East Peoria and one brother, Harry H. (Barbara) Monkman of Bloomington.

She worked in clerical for Dunn & Bradstreet; WEEK TV 25; Hyster Co.; Hiram Walker; Affolter, Dowiatt and Brown in East Peoria; and Caterpillar Inc. in Morton.

A graveside service will be in Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington at a later date. 
There will be no visitation.  Cremation will be accorded. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin.

Memorials may be made to the Tazewell Animal Protective Society, 100 Taps Lane, Pekin, IL 61554.
