Ivan L. Brush, 85, of East Peoria, died at 8:55 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born March 3, 1925, in Marietta to Gilbert and Jacquetta Ford Brush, he married Betty L. Edwards in June of 1948 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on July 8, 2008, in East Peoria.
Surviving are one daughter, Carla Colleen Brush of Chillicothe; and two sisters, Clarice Rennau of Washington and Velma Ruth Dahmm of Bushnell.
He was a World War II Army veteran. He worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for more than 20 years and also served as a funeral and ambulance assistant at Schmidt-Haller Funeral Parlor in East Peoria for many years.
Services were Aug. 11 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Visitation was prior to services at the funeral home. Burial was in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
