Shirley “Loretta” Stevens, 71, of East Peoria, died at 9:10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.

Born Feb. 23, 1939, in Mt. Vernon, to Elden Ward and Ethel Marie Isaac Dalton, she married Donald G. Stevens on Sept. 15, 1969, in Galesburg He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Tammy Sue Stevens of East Peoria and two brothers, Stanley (Nancy) Dalton of Peoria and Louie (Lana) Dalton of Morton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley was a homemaker. 

Services were Aug. 30 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. The Rev. Louie Dalton, her brother, officiated. Visitation was prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.

Memorials may be made to her family.
