Greetings and a happy spring to you all!
We have two exciting Guest Artists Series events remaining this season: Russian pianist Irina Feoktistova, 7:30 p.m. April 18, in the Lecture Recital Hall, room 127F of the Academic Building; and Hubbard Street 2 Dance Company at 7:30 p.m. May 17, in the Performing Arts Center.
Please call the box office at 694-5136 for tickets, information and maps. Admission for Feoktistova is $7 general and $5 for students and seniors. Hubbard Street 2 Dance Company is $16 general and $14 for students and seniors.
At the Hubbard Street Dance Concert, we will formally announce the 2008-09 Guest Artists Series. Legends, icons, national recording artists and international musicians take the stage in this must-see season.
If you’re not already on our mailing list, please call the box office. We’ll be sending out brochures in April. Also, if you’d like to be on our Arts@ICC e-mail list, simply send your name and e-mail address to arts@icc.edu.
At the May 17 Hubbard Street performance, we’ll also be giving away 10 separate season tickets. The winners of these will be able to bring an additional friend or family member to each Guest Artists Series performance next season. In order to be eligible to win, you will need to have already purchased your 2008-09 season tickets by intermission on that evening, and you’ll be automatically entered into the contest. We’ll draw those prizes just prior to the start of Act II; that’s the evening of the Hubbard Street performance. Limit of one win per household.
