A Pekin man was charged Friday with possessing meth to sell following a raid at his home a day earlier.
Chad Davis, 40, was ordered held on $20,000 on the charge of possessing meth with intent to deliver.
Officers obtained a search warrant for his home at 1124 Summer St. after he allegedly sold methamphetamine to a confidential source cooperating with the police earlier this month, according to a prosecutor’s court affidavit.
They found small baggies containing alleged meth on Davis and in his home that totaled 4.6 grams, as well as about 15 grams of marijuana, the affidavit stated. Davis told police he’d been selling the drug for about two months.
He will next appear in court on Jan. 26 on the charge, punishable by up to seven years in prison.
