Renee Murdoch will share her story of her miraculous healing from a severe head injury at 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Aug. 19 at Northwoods Community Church, 10700 N. Allen Road. Renee was given a 1 percent chance of full recovery after being brutally attacked while serving as a missionary in Brazil.

A Day of Reflection, sponsored by Peoria Area Cursillo, will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Archbishop Spalding Pastoral Center, 419 NE Madison St. Guests are welcome.
