PEORIA - Eighteen more cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in the Tri-County Region in the last 24 hours, for a total of 1,147 cases to-date.
Peoria County reported 11 more cases for a total of 851 since the pandemic began. Of those 234 are at home in isolation, and 18 are hospitalized. Thirty people have died, and 569 have recovered. Peoria County is reporting a 3.08 percent positivity rate.
Tazewell County reported seven more cases, for a total of 230. Of those cases 53 are at home in isolation, four are hospitalized, 168 have recovered and eight have died. Tazewell County had a 1.5 percent positivity rate for the week of July 5 through 11, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Woodford County stands firm at 66 cases. Of those, 16 are at home in isolation, one is hospitalized, 46 have recovered, and three have died. Woodford is reporting a 2.11% positivity rate.
