Raiders fall to Mid-Illini soccer host Dunlap

East Peoria was shut out in its first big test of the Mid-Illini Conference boys soccer season.
The Raiders lost, 2-0, Sept. 9 at Dunlap to fall for the first time in league play.
East Peoria (4-2-1, 1-1) was held to two shots on goal by the Eagles.
Still, the visitors trailed only 1-0 until a second Dunlap tally in the 78th minute.
Aaron Foster made 11 saves as the Raiders goalkeeper. He also faced nine corner kicks.
Reminder: East Peoria plays at Illinois Valley Central at 6 p.m. Wednesday in a rescheduled non-conference game.
The teams originally were supposed to meet Aug. 25 in the season opener.
